THE COSTS
Most rooms only require a maximum of two sprinkler
heads in order to provide sufficient protection. The process of installation
will cause no more disruption than having a new central heating system installed.
Costs
involved are dependant on the size of the system required and type of
building concerned.
Generally,
for the average installation in a new house, costs can be as low as £3
per square metre. Typically, a three bedroom modern house would cost in
the region of £2,800, or the cost of new carpeting! There
is a marginal increase in costs for an older house, typically in the region
of £4.50 per square metre.
